Portrait Opportunities
I am finishing up my training on lighting and on how to photograph portraits. In the next couple of week I will be building up my portfolio and I am looking for models. These shoots will be theme based and mostly shot on location. My intent is to shoot mostly street portraits and will have a theme, meaning they will be set up to convey a message.
If you are interested in volunteering for some of these projects or know of anyone who might be interetsed, let me know. I do have some ideas for projects which I would like to move on as quickly as possible. Also as a plus, I am looking for people who have a extraordinary look, like a lot of tattoos, goth, body builder, model, unique style, or anything that sets them apart. But also the ordinary look is also OK, but remember, I am looking for a specific topic for the shoots.
The purpose of these shoots are to expand my experience and build my portfolio. The trade off, I will provide you a print or/and a file to post on the internet. For non family, signing a release will be required.

thats sounds fun... but am just a normal lookin person.. my daughter loves taking pic but she just does trompas all the time hahahah that dont help cause u wont get different pics.. but i can help u if u need someone.. just let me kno...since u helped me :D you know wat would be cool like shooting someone under water!! hahaha dang i watch to much amercas next top model hahahaha... well i dont work no more so am free even if u need help like wit lighting or setting up??...

how about a message of the memorials of the dead latinas left on the mesa and the "silent" pleas of the families. Noone likes to hear the families of the addicted but our pain is just as valid as those who get the "airtime" on TV.

I agree and I have been thinking about doing something with that.
