Mom Lands in El Paso for her "80 Years" Tour Visit

This is one of Mom's "80 years" Tour Visit Series."

This year Mom will turn 80 years young and she will be making some tour appearances in different parts of the earth to visit with some family members. I will try to be there to document some of her visits with photographs.

So, today Mom made her appearance in El Paso to visit with Carlos Marentes and family. She was very excited to start with this visit to support some of Carlos efforts for equality for the labor farm workers in the El paso area.

Carlos was having a service during the weekend to honor Cesar Chavez and farm workers. Mom took the opportunity to visit and have some discussions with Carlos.

Xochitl and her husband Jaime were at hand sharing in the visit with not just Mom, but also with Bety, Jacob, Perico and I, who accompanied Mom.

There were happy and serious discussions at the table with the girls.

Sometimes they moved to the kitchen.
But Mom did not have a problem making her points.

Not all was serious talk, there was a lot of laughing,

And even some dancing.

After a late round of loteria, in which some lost and others won, we retreated for the night.
